Collection of information

In order to provide the best service, we may require and store information from you. Correspondence and user information may be collected and stored via the use of our website or social media, subscribing to our mailing lists, and contact through email or phone.

Thus, we also pursue our aim of not confronting users with our advertising, who have no interest in our product. Providing a high level of customer service is our priority and details collected from users enable us to do so. Collected information may be used in relation to sales, staff development and marketing.

We respect the security of your personal information. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, are encrypted. We pass on such details to be processed and never permanently store credit card details. We use and save your personal data and technical information, as long as this is necessary. We follow industry standards to ensure this information is protected.

Access to collected information

Should you wish to update, view or delete your identifiable information please contact us. Provided all financials and/or disputes are cleared, all personal details will be deleted/de-activated from our systems. To unsubscribe from our marketing emails, please select the unsubscribe option at the bottom of our emails, or contact us to be removed.

Orders

When making a purchase from us, we will request personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (name, email, and shipping and billing addresses) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, CCV). We use this information for billing purposes and to fulfil your order.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions, together with the terms set out on the front of the invoice and those set out in the correspondence confirming the sale, outline the entire Agreement between the addressee of the Sales Invoice (the “Purchaser”) and Michael Reid (the “Gallery”) relating to the sale of the Work(s)

Full payment must be received within seven days of receipt of the Sales Invoice unless otherwise agreed.

The Gallery is authorised to sell the artwork(s) on behalf of the artist (the “Artist”)

The Gallery warrants to the Purchaser that the artwork(s) is an authentic artwork(s) by that artist and the invoice stands as proof of the authenticity of the work and no further certificates will be provided

No copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork(s) are granted to the Purchaser and the Artist’s moral rights (including the Artist’s right to be identified as author of the artwork(s) are hereby asserted

Title to the artwork(s) will pass to the Purchaser only on full receipt of the Sales Invoice total by cleared funds, and the Purchaser shall be responsible for the artwork(s) and risk shall pass to the Purchaser, so must therefore make appropriate arrangements to insure the artwork(s) from this time

Artwork(s) will be stored free of charge for a period of sixty days, after which time any artwork(s) not shipped or paid will incur storage charges for which the Purchaser will be liable.

Artwork(s) shall not be released to the Purchaser until the Gallery has received the full Purchase Price in cleared funds and the Purchaser has paid any storage costs due under Clause 6 above

The Purchaser is responsible for all associated crating and shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Gallery and the Purchaser

The gallery reserves the right to terminate any sale at its discretion if any of the sale terms are not met terminate any sale at its discretion if any of the sale terms are not met

Communications

We use personally identifiable information for communications, including emails and accounts information. We may use this information for other purposes including promotional emails.

Third parties

At our discretion, we may use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for business purposes. In this instance, we may be required to share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service. Third parties are prohibited from using your private information for other purposes. We do not share information with third parties for an unknown or unrelated use. Third parties include but are not limited to digital marketing and freight providers, and any information collecting organisation nominated by the Australian Government for the purposes of managing the Resale Royalty Rights Scheme.
