This Special Release brings together four new still lifes by Angie de Latour, featuring hellebores, nasturtiums, violets and cactus. Each plant is placed in a vessel that respects its organic form, allowing the flowers and stems to settle into attitudes that echo their natural environments.
De Latour is a Melbourne-based painter whose practice now centres on the still life. “The process of choosing and arranging objects to paint has a pace of its own,” she notes. “It has become a ritual—constant, unpredictable, but increasingly synchronistic.” These works capture that rhythm with clarity and restraint, offering quiet studies of presence and poise.
