“I would have to say that galahs are one of my favourite birds (don’t tell all the other birds though). They are cheeky and inquisitive and seem to spend most of their time having fun. The reference photo I used for this piece was of one of our galahs trying to peer into our new flue when we got our fireplace put in. I thought it was the perfect post to stand atop this perfectly clipped azalea bonsai.”
